Joint press release on the three sectors: Agriculture, water, and rural development
On 19 December 2024, the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, the Ministry of Rural Development, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries issued a joint press release about the third meeting on the three sectors: Agriculture, Water, and Rural Development, organized at the office of the Ministry of Rural Development. The meeting reviewed progress on policies and activities for modern agricultural communities, water user communities, and model villages.
In this third meeting, the group reviewed progress since the last meeting, findings from field studies, proposed priority community locations, key interventions, and guidelines for selecting and tailoring interventions for target sites.
